Washington Post: Prince George’s schools recognized for anti-obesity efforts

“The students at Clinton Grove Elementary School play basketball, jump rope and use Hula-Hoops before and after school.”

Wow! What a novel idea! The elementary school students should play! Nobody ever thought of that idea before. For millions of years children just sat around doing nothing, and the brilliant staff of Clinton Grove Elementary School discovered the concept of playing.

Another elementary school is teaching the parents how to make whole-grain bread, and teaching the students the arts of cooking and gardening. Actually, this is a good idea. I enjoyed cooking and gardening when I was a child, but I learned these things at home.
