News Net 5 ABC (September 4, 2013): Cleveland begins offering free after-school meals at city rec centers

Usually the free after-school meals are provided by the schools to poor students, but Cleveland offers free meals to all students at the city recreation centers. The students do not have show proof of poverty. Half the children in Cleveland live below the poverty line.

This level of dependence on government and charity is no longer shocking.
